"Why do I get adjusted?" Part 4
In our office, we recommend our patients continue care beyond their initial care plan to maintain the progress they have made and keep the body adapting to the types of stress we discussed in the previous 3 blog posts.
For most patients, the most I ask they go between adjustments is a week. The reality is, we don't live in a vacuum. I often joke that if I could wrap you in a bubble and send you out over the lake, you'd probably never need to be adjusted again. We are subject to stressors every day that will cause stress on our nervous system, but the more conscious we are about eliminating the stressors we can and increasing our adaptability to the stressors we can't, the healthier we will be.
